Message Claude Code from Chat

Claude Code Channels let you message a running session from chat apps such as Telegram or Discord.

This is lower-priority than basic Remote Control, but it can be useful when chat is the fastest way to check in.

Good uses

• Ask for status while away from your laptop.
• Respond to a simple clarification.
• Trigger a known workflow.
• Keep a long-running session moving from your phone.

Guardrails

Be careful with broad permissions. Chat-based control should not become a path to secrets, production credentials, or destructive commands.

Start with read-only or low-risk workflows before allowing more powerful actions.
